Building Confidence Through Connection, Movement and New Experiences
The Adventure & Independence Workshop is a 6-week community-based program designed to support participants in building confidence, independence, social connection, emotional wellbeing, and resilience through real-world experiences and adventure-based activities.
Each week participants attend a new location or activity designed to encourage personal growth, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, healthy risk-taking, and community participation in a safe and supportive environment.
This workshop focuses on creating meaningful experiences that empower participants to step outside their comfort zones, build everyday life skills, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop greater confidence in themselves and others.
This workshop is suitable for:
- NDIS participants
- Young people and adults
- Individuals developing independent living skills
- Participants with psychosocial, intellectual, physical, or developmental disabilities
- Participants wanting to improve confidence, routine, and healthy lifestyle habits
Activities can be adapted to suit different support needs, learning styles, and abilities.
